Fosvilla is a brand new house located at the entrance of Galatas village 5,5km distance from the center of Chania city and enjoys the Mediterranean sea's views. Theodori island and Chania town. The villa is designed and decorated by the owner who is also an architect.
In the basement, a bedroom and a bathroom are looking in a patio. The bedroom has a double bed or two single beds (on request).
There is a living and dining room area on the ground floor, a kitchen (fully equipped with all modern electrical appliances), and a WC.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom has two single beds which, depending on the demands, are converted into double beds. The rooms have a balcony with a superb view of the sea and Ag. Theodori Island.
On the top floor, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom too. The large bedroom has two singles beds which are converted into a double bed and one single bed. The other has one single bed and a sofa bed.

Gorgeous location and land lords!
This was one of the best locations we ever were. Kostas and Christini did all to make us feel comfortable - thank you two a lot for all the small and bigger things you did for us! The location is a modern villa with four floors and everything you need for relaxing holidays. From washing machine and dryer, BBQ to the heatened pool. Additionally, it was prepared with a lot ofthoughful small details. All of us were impressed by both, the villa and the landlords. From the villa it´s a 15 minutes walk to the beach, so we went a few times to the beach for a sundowner or to have our breakfast there. Next to the villa is also a really good small tavern with delicious authentic greek food, where we ate a few times. Small greek supermarkets are within short walking distance and a bigger one by 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. We definitely recommend this location if you want to make holidays in Chania!

Everything was more than perfect and certainly above our expectations. Fos villa is a luxurious retreat in Chania, a trully diamond. The design of the house is outstanding, the garden absolutely stunning and the pool the hottest we have ever swam (during May with cloudy weather!!). The location is perfect too, in the center of everything. Easy to go to Chania city center, to the beautiful sandy beaches and also to the mountain Crete. We couldn't ask for more. In conclusion our stay at fos villa was absolutely unique and amazing experience. Kostas & Christini is a wonderful couple who offered us a great hospitality. Were always there when we needed them with services and recommendations in a level of five stars hotel and even more. Thank you Kostas & Christini we will always remember you fondly.”

Fantastic house for family of 8 adults.

Everything needed was provided - tea, coffee (filter and pods), bread, rusks, muesli, jam, down to tissues and plenty of toilet paper! Could just move in and not have to rush out to the supermarket. They even provided dinner! cheese and honey, home made cheese and spinach pastries and a big dish of stuffed peppers and tomatoes. Enough for 8 and great for our 3 vegetarians. Can't praise this place too much; everything is beautifully done - warm pool, sun lounges and outside eating area that we thoroughly enjoyed, down to the beautiful rooms and 4 bathrooms. Kostas and Christini were always available with suggestions on what to do and any minor house queries we had. Easy access to Chania and driving distance to other western Crete attractions (Samaria Gorge and the beautiful beaches) . Good restaurants (Cretan) within easy walking distance. Our car could park in front of the villa. We loved our stay at Fos Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Crete. Book early

Holiday Paradise
A beautiful property with everything you could want or need for a relaxing holiday. There is a village with shop & cafe within walking distance & a taverna next door which serves massive portions of delicious food. The property is very clean; the owners are very friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Wow! What a fabulous place. We stayed a week at Fos Villa at the end May with our 4 adult children (in their 30’s) and 2 partners. The house has 5 bedrooms so we were easily accommodated.
On arrival our hosts, Kostas and Christini, met us and explained the ins and outs of the house. It is architect-designed (by Christini) and makes the most of all the space. With 8 adults you need space!
Everything we could possibly need was provided. I’m talking about tea, coffee (filter and pods), bread, rusks, muesli, jam, down to tissues and plenty of toilet paper! We could just move in and not have to rush out to the supermarket. They even provided dinner - cheese and honey, home made cheese and spinach pastries and a big dish of stuffed peppers and tomatoes. Yum! Enough for 8 and particularly good for us as we had 3 vegetarians with us.
I can’t praise this place too much; everything about it is beautifully done. The warm pool, the sun lounges and outside eating area that we thoroughly enjoyed, down to the beautiful rooms and 4 bathrooms. Kostas and Christini were always available with suggestions on what to do and any minor house queries we had.
It is within easy access to Chania and driving distance to other western Crete attractions, like Samaria Gorge and the beautiful beaches. It also has plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. We had a car that we were easily able to park in front of the villa.
We have loved our stay at Fos Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Crete.

If you are visiting Chania in Crete...this is the place to stay!! What exceptional hosts and villa!! Our holiday began with a late flight (which was delayed) into Heraklion airport and then a 2 hour drive to Fos villa. Our arrival time was 1.30am, Kostas was kind enough to wait and greet us along with tasty cretan pastries (home cooked) and complimentary wine, milk, eggs, bread, fruit and more. Well, Fos villa, a thing of loveliness and style, from the decor and furniture to the heated pool in the landscaped garden - much appreciated by both my husband and I (Graphic Designers), our daughters thought so too 11yrs & 8yrs. The villa was well equipped for our party of 3 adults and 2 children, with 3 floors of ample living space. All the restaurants we dined at recommended by Kostas were superb. We visited Kalamaki beach a 12min walk and Iguana beach a 5min drive, very nice beaches. We cannot thank Kostas and Christini enough for their hospitality and making our holiday an enjoyable one.

You can stop looking at other places for your stay in Chania. This is hands down the best place. Location is near the city but away from the narrow streets and noise and touristy areas. It is but 1.3km to the nearest beach and located in a quite and serene neighborhood with an excellent tavern next door. You can even see the sea from the house. The house is newly built with a basement and 3 levels. Beautifully designed and thought out by the architect owner. Basement has a large bedroom with a double bed and toilet (plus laundry area with washer and dryer). Ground floor is the living and dining room with Netflix for the kids and an outdoor pool which is heated over spring and autumn. Level 1 has 2 bedrooms with a bath and level 3 also 2 bedrooms with a bath. I only wish my own house was as nicely built and thought out. Kostas and Christini are excellent hosts, getting in touch via (Hidden by Airbnb) prior to the stay to ask what we need and how many are coming. Also preparing a baby cot at no charge for our infant. They were on hand when we reached really late (because of multiple factors) and we were amazed that our hosts had prepared spinach pies, loads of fresh fruits, bread and breakfast items like ham, cheese, eggs etc. There was even a Nespresso machine with pods, drip coffee maker, oven, microwave, induction stove and all the cooking utilities that you might need. There is a dishwasher with pods for washing. They were also super flexible about our check out time. The hosts are also super friendly and made recommendations as to where we could go to see the sights and where we could eat as well. Cleanliness was impeccable - my wife who is Hygea's "disciple" was impressed. There are clean and really soft towels (1 large and 1 small) with embossed words (FOS villa) for everyone. There was a washer with soap all ready for use. This villa is appropriate for large groups with children and the hosts are the best we have encountered to date (over various continents). Compared to the cramped and touristy quarters in the old town, this is a breath of fresh air. Go and experience it for yourself. PS Sincerely and thoughtfully prepared to be a home away from home in every sense of the word!

Fos Villa offers luxurious surroundings in a local setting. We really loved the modern design of the house, where every little detail had been considered. The villa had plenty of space for three generations, and the heated pool was used several times a day. We enjoyed the tranquility of having our own home away from the busy tourist areas. The local area offered everything we needed within walking distance: great restaurants just around the corner, mini markets and the beach. Chania was only 20 minutes away with the local bus. Kostas and Christina were welcoming and helpful hosts next door, and their welcome at the night of our arrival was incredible. You will discover that the pictures do not lie - Fos Villa is everything we expected and even more.

Fos Villa is absolutely stunning. It was perfect for our weekend in Chania. It is so close to town, but just far away enough to have peace and quiet. It is literally steps away from one of the best local 5-star rated restaurants - Elia Taverna! Fos Villa is a must stay place if you are looking for something more than a cramped noisy hotel. Having a full kitchen, private pool and stunning decor made this stay fantastic. The home truly is a design gem!! Thank you to Kostas and Christini! You made our stay so wonderful!!

We were seven in this beautiful house. As it is a new construction, everything is working well and modern. We could enjoy movies in the evening using the villa's Nextflix login. The pool is great because it is very long and enable to really swim. We liked very much the easy access to many sites and activities within 5 to 45 minutes. Easy to park the car in front of the villa, always available. Kindness of owners (this point is already well developed in others' comments, and we can confirm). The next corner is a great restaurant, cheap and delicious. We could order and take away true Cretan dishes... so easy. Weather is never a concern here and AC help to cool down the rooms in case. I recommend this location and would be more than happy to promote it to my friends.

We (all 10 of us, 3 generations ranging in age from 80 to 3) absolutely enjoyed our vacation at Fos(Light) Villa. Our hosts made us feel so welcome from the word GO! They had stocked the refrigerator and had prepared a delicious meal of traditional stuffed peppers, tomatoes, courgette flowers and rolled grape leaves!! It all went so well with the bottle of wine!! The location in Galatas Village (10 minutes from Chania port) was super convenient. We would do day trips in the area and come home in the early evening to a beautiful pool where all enjoyed the setting sun. An extra perk was the taverna next door where everyone found a dish they loved. Kostas and Christini were super hosts. We recommend this beautiful house to one and all: a group wishing for a lovely setting, a multiply generation family or a couple of families wanting to spend some vacation time together! Loved it and hope we shall be able to visit again!

I would definitely come back next summer, and highly recommend for group of friends or family who are looking for proximity to the seaside and old town in Chania! So many highlights of our stay (and the reasons for recommendations): - fantastic amenities, the pool and overall decoration are simply a delight to wake up to every morning, and to come back to every evening after a day at the beach - 10 mins drive to the Agia beach (and one of the best beach clubs in town) - 15 mins drive to Old Town, where all the great restaurants and unique Chania vibe are - 1 min walk to a great cafe nearby, in case you are lazy some day and want to just enjoy some local food with a view - last but not least, the fantastic hosts! Christini and Kostas are really nice and quick in responding to our (endless) questions. We really felt at home, and cannot wait till next year's summer retreat in Chania again :)

This villa was everything we had hoped for, and even so much more. Kostas and Kristina did an amazing job in designing and decorating this home. The trip we just took to Chania was by far the best vacation my family has taken, and a huge reason was this villa. Each room has it's own air conditioning, the mattresses and sheets are of premium quality and extremely comfortable, and the house is full of all the comforts of home (and more). I have no doubt we will be back to Chania (hopefully sooner than later!) and Fos Villa will definitely be the place where we will stay. Thank you so much for your warmth, your generosity and the amazing home you designed and we had the privilege to use! It could not have been better!!!

When we first stumbled upon this house on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online! If you are going to Crete this is the place to stay! gorgeous design and a thought of the details. A perfect pool with grass every thing was just perfect for our stay a family of 6 people. Kostas is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house is just perfect! Kitchen is large and contains everything one needs. The beds is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. Kostas had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our long-week comfortable and memorable. Thanks Kostas and Greece for a wonderful week! We will be back!

Fos Villa was a wonderful part of our time in Crete. The best part of our stay was the attentiveness and hospitality of our hosts Christini and Kostas. They met us upon arrival with a plate of warm pastries. They walked us through the very well appointed Fos Villa. They live right next door and when we needed an extra pool chair and towels, they were extremely quick to respond. Fos Villa has everything you will need. Christini designed the house herself and did a stunning job at using every ounce of space. The pool area is a wonderful oasis surrounded by grass. The bedrooms have a spa theme with olive oil soap products and Fos Villa embroidered amenities. Truly wonderful! Another great part of our stay was enjoying the restaurant that is literally 50m around the corner from the villa. It’s a local neighborhood restaurant and the owner will warmly great you and recommend some of his favorites. Incredible! I can’t wait to return to Fos. My wife found Fos Villa by doing a basic web search, but I now believe it wasn't just coincidence! From the moment we arrived on Saturday 30 June, we knew that our trip was going to be special. The incredible view, the amazing design and decoration of the villa by Kristina, the warmth expressed by her and her husband Kostas, we immediately felt that this trip would ruin all future vacations for us...no future vacation can compete. The beds are extremely comfortable, and our kids absolutely loved the inground pool (as well as the adults!). We left on Thursday 12 July with sadness that our trip was over, but also with a high level of motivation to return to see Kostas and Kristina again, and stay at their beautiful home...Fos Villa! The people of Crete (and more specifically Chania) are the kindest and warmest people I have ever met. The food was amazing. The beaches, the stores, the restaurants, and the people will always have a place in my heart.

Incredible Cretan hospitality! We spent six fabulous nights at Fos Villa which comfortably slept two families.. four adults and five children under 9. Villa is very modern, spacious, spotless and light-filled. Ideal location to explore the island and easy direct access to Chania town. Walking distance to bakeries, cafes and taverns all in Galatas village, and all ammenities a short drive away. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, even installing new locks on external doors after we expressed concern for children accessing the pool. All external doors now have a key lock for extra pool safety. Highlight of our stay was our welcome dinner when we arrived in the evening.. a tray of delicious home-made ‘yemista’, fresh bread, feta cheese and a cake for dessert!! Our fridge was stocked with organic fruit and veggies including avocados and the sweetest mandarins! A big thank you to Kosta and Christini. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of beautiful Crete and stay at amazing Fos Villa again.

Christini's & Kosta's place is truly wonderful. We had high hopes, but the place was even better than expected. It is a greatly designed villa with high attention to detail. We spend 1 week in the villa with 10 colleagues. There were enough spaces to find some privacy (both inside and out), even if everybody was home. The bedrooms are silent and spacious. With 3 bathrooms, no-one ever was in another's way. I am sure that whether you come with one (or more) families, a group of friends or colleagues, you will have a great time in Kosta's place. Kosta & Christini, by the way, are lovely people that speak English perfectly and that are available at any time if there are questions. I certainly reccommend the place to anyone that is looking for a high-end accommodation, and hope to get back to their place some time, then I'll bring my family :).
